As a young adult, Jacqui Kapinowski faced
many hardships. Getting Bacterial Meningitis at the age of 23, and again
at the age of 28, no one thought she would make it out of the hospital
alive! She survived this horrific disease only to find out down the road
there is more to come….

Seizures starting at the age of 35, as time
went by Jacqui’s body started to change. Numbness and spasms started in
her legs, arms, head and neck. Little by little her spine started
going abnormal in a swayback position. Having fluctuating severe
muscle spasms, progressive stiffness, rigidity and dystonia has taken
over her lower body & spine. It took four years to diagnose that Jacqui
had a rare progressive neurological disorder called
Stiff Person Syndrome.
She now has to rely on her wheelchair to get around.

Despite the hand that has been dealt over the
years, she continues to compete in marathons, the grueling 26.2
miles that runners have come to love. Jacqui enjoys the challenge,
loves being outdoors, loves the people, and has completed 40
marathons, half marathons, 4 triathlons, countless other races and hopefully many more to come.
Drinking AQUAVYBE Water daily has given her hydration and extra
energy to keep her from her non stoppable goals.
